GR7AA - L or M

Got a frame here - the V5 says its 91 yet googling GR7AA comes up with 90. Is the L that much different to the M? What are they ways to tell them apart? Need couple of bits to get it to the rolling chassis stage but need to ID it first.

The chassis / engine number will relate to year/month it was built, but it may not have been sold until the next year which is what is noted on the V5! My Daily is on a 52 plate but is actually a 2001 model year.

my 750L is also GR7AA.

Frame is basically the same between L and M models, only the rear part is different (where the seats and sidepanels are mounted). M is a bit wider than L.

Oh yes the L has glued on tank rubbers, the M has bolted on ones.

So the frame number would mean its an L but it has got the bolt on rubbers. I got some photos, might be easier this way

looks like an M frame. My L does not have this bit under where the battery sits.

according to the googles, GR7AA is also the M model code.

just found some pics of the 750M frame I had in 2003, it has this bit.

So it's safe to assume you have a 750M frame (or N which is identical).
