engine numbers ?

hi, i just got a gsxr 1100 custom,so not what you would call standard by any means, barrels say 1052cc , engine number statrs with U705, i carnt seem to find this number on tinterweb has anyone got any info, this will most likley be the first of many questions as ordring parts is gonna be fun with this bike as i think parts are from all years lol

U code is indeed a 1052cc

U703 is the full power 1052.  U704 Germany, France, swtzerland Restricted version, U705 im unfamilier with R705 is the 750

wheels are 3 spoke i think 88, swingarm has no dog bones so i think slabby, but im stuck for a engine year when it comes to getting new parts lol...... what years did the 1052 engine run?

I can't find any info with my engine number.

v = 1100 to 1199 cc

7 = 4 stroke 4 cylinder

15 = the 15th incarnation of that model, ie the 1127 engine.

7 = 4 stroke 4 cylinder

05 is the 5th incarnation of that model, the 1052 engine

So, how do you know or how to determine what donor model engine I have, frame is 88 and heavily modified (incl. turbo)?

Is it a screw and locknut or shim head??

 

1127 screw and locknut are 89/90 K/l after that M was shims
