Captain Chaos
Volkswagen/Audi Daytonagrau LZ7S is a good match for original B12 engine colour Quote Link to comment
ibrakeformoose
Thanks, etch prime underneath or straight on? I have read that you don't need heat-proof paint, but I'd be worried about that..? Quote Link to comment
Metlhd
Duplicolor TB102 is a commonly used "spray-bomb" and I have personally used. Good match and easy to use, just a THOROUGH cleaning and several lights coats. Bear in mind, most aerosols are NOT Fuel resistant. Just saw this posted on the 1st Gen F.B. page. Looks like an exact match but again, an aerosol so I doubt it's fuel/chem resistant. https://www.ralaerosols.com/product/ral/aerosols/ral-7021-spray-paint-can/ Quote Link to comment
carlinmidarlin
I used 2k paint on mine , the engine was fully de greased , 2k primer and then the top coat with good results Edited January 2, 2020 by carlinmidarlin Quote Link to comment
dupersunc
You'll need a 2k laquer at least if you want it fuel tolerant. Quote Link to comment
