Stevemilne750 Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 (edited) Hi folks got the chance of a really cheap gsxr 600 srad engine anyone got any ideas of any problems getting it to fit the GS frame. The carb angle looks like the most obvious problem going by pics. And fitting radiator At £50 for the motor I'm going to give it a go and offer it up to the frame and see what's what. But any advice would be helpful and appreciated. Cheers Edited August 25, 2019 by Stevemilne750 Quote
wraith Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Don't know much about this one apart from as you say carbs and maybe zorst ports? This came up in general I think about 6 months back with some good info. I'm sure someone will be along with more info soon. Quote
Swirl Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Not sure about srad, but I tried a k7 750 in a gs frame and it was way to tall to start with. Quote
K.H.I Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 My advice. - go and think about what you are attempting to do - hit yourself over the head - never think about it again. 3 Quote
fastgs287 Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 I'd like to know if it's been done too- I've got a couple of spare GS chassis that deserve a modern motor if it's feasible- so has anyone managed to squeeze an SRAD in there? Quote
