Srad 600 engine into 77 gs 750 frame??

Hi folks got the chance of a really cheap gsxr 600 srad engine anyone got any ideas of any problems getting it to fit the GS frame.

The carb angle looks like the most obvious problem going by pics.

And fitting radiator 

At £50 for the motor I'm going to give it a go and offer it up to the frame and see what's what.

 

But any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

Don't know much about this one apart from as you say carbs and maybe zorst ports?

This came up in general I think about 6 months back with some good info. I'm sure someone will be along with more info soon.

Not sure about srad, but I tried a k7 750 in a gs frame and it was way to tall to start with.

My advice. - go and think about what you are attempting to do - hit yourself over the head - never think about it again.

I'd like to know if it's been done too- I've got a couple of spare GS chassis that deserve a modern motor if it's feasible- so has anyone managed to squeeze an SRAD in there?
