1991 1100 low fuel sensor

Hi all, would anyone know of any low fuel sensor fixes? Or any fuel sensor that I can use on a 1991 1100m.

I'm sure my current sensor is faulty,  the red fuel light comes on gradually after about a minute or so, after turning on the ignition.

Cant seem to find a 2nd hand spare anywhere and I dont fancy forking out on a new one as they seem pretty expensive.

Appreciate any help
Cheers

I've got a spare if you're interested, came out of a working bike £25 + post?

Unplug it - no more problem. Use trip meter to monitor mileage between fuel stops ie. re-set at fill up - range 150? miles, start looking for fuel @ 130?

that's exactly how the 750's fuel sensor works :v
