Rear sprocket pcd

Hi all. Is the pcd the mk1 bandit 1200 the same as the gsxr 1100? Thanks.

Depends which Gsxr 1100, slabbys no only 5 bolts, slingys fit ok though

48t is stock for gsxr1100s

I think he's putting it on a bandit!!! They are 45 std, I ran a 47 when doing the hill climb championship and it was almost to much on std wheelbase

I am running 14 45 at the moment,as I've jacked the bike up 50mm the chain is rubbing on the chain guide a lot. So I was thinking of running 15 48 which gives very close to my same ratio.

If you go that big check the clearance between the chain and the post that the sprocket cover sits on it might touch and grind it away, if your chain is rubbing that bad then your swinging arm angle of the dangle is too steep, id lower it a bit

15t front will fit ok just  but if you want to a 16t you'd have to remove the bolt and sleeve at the rear of the cover that sites between the chain 

Did this on a mates b6 as he wanted to run a 16t front sprocket.

I went 1 tooth up from standard on the front sprocket, no other modifications. I had to file down one of the posts on the sprocket cover slightly to get it to fit, it was a long time ago so don't remember the details but I do remember I had to file to make it fit.

As a side story was the best mod I ever made to a bike! Turned it from a pig into something nice to ride, was only a few months old and I just couldn't get along with it. It was Dek Crutchlow (Cal's Dad, years before Cal had ever sat on a race bike) who suggested it, just as I was about to trade it in for a Bonneville. I should have thought of it myself being a Club racer at the time constantly playing with gearing.
