The marshals at Cadwell are a pretty cool bunch from my experience its way worse at Mallory.

i have just (roughly) welded up an 'exhaust' that I can slip my end can and link pipe into, can be slipped out with just removing a bolt so will see if it's too load on the track without it.
What do they do if it is too load on the track? Just warn you and tell you to make it quite rot kick you off?
They do a static test at a given rpm(5,000??) then sticker your bike if it passes(below the given limit-depending on the track) if it fails then no sticker try again after sticking a sock in it or no pass no sticker no ride I think.
Cadwell used to be max 105db static not drive by-most normal race systems are less than that but you have a turbo so can't guess,my GSXR without baffle is around 98db but seems much louder when you ride it so you may have nothing to worry about I'm sure one of the turbo bods can give better advice

yes,but what is the start position ? As it is at the picture ? Flat side down ?
A picture paints a 1000 words sorry I can't post 1 because my bike is in the UK and I'm in Sweden, hope someone else can post a pic to help you, but it isn't that complicated to be honest

With a pair of pliers if you have no tap rotate the centre part(where the tap screws in) either fully clockwise or anti clockwise until it stops this will take you to either res or prime. Half between these 2 points is on, hope this makes sense.

I am thinking sunday is good. which group is good for a below average geezer on a 750 slab?
I'm on Sunday wobbling round in the Superbike group doing my impression of a rolling chicane I think there are a few spaces in superbike and novice groups
If you've done Cadwell before thats half the battle, you can pretty much go fast or slow in any group

expensive... yes. but you can sell the old ones no problem. depending on wear, I had a old well worn set go for 60 quid a set, 150 if good nick.
Sounds like a plan

Remember the golden rule when changing 1 wire out of the old and then into the new especially when changing larger blocks

Is anyone interested in buying a slabby ignition advancer?
I have spoken to Stuart at Warpspeed and he is willing to do a run of them if there is enough interest
Prices to be confirmed
let me know if you would want one

My mate had an RG 250 mk1 in his shed but he's a Yamaha man. Well after getting me to part with £800 its mine and in my garage. Needs a few wear and tear things replaced and a general clean and service and I can get it mot'd. Its that or strip it down for a deep clean and tidy things up with some paint which I could do when winter comes back round. http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g396/paddy-b/Mobile%20Uploads/WP_20160330_21_01_31_Pro_zps9qdhnbra.jpg[/IMG
I did the same with my RGV, thought I would make it roadworthy, next thing the engines out and I'm pricing up shiny stuff......

I've added a list of people who have expressed an interest in going, let me know if circumstances have changed and you can't make it. Closer to the time we'll need an address off you (I know some ,already have) and would be good to have a list of bike specs/modifications, and I'll make up some sheets to add to the bikes. So far it looks like we could have about 20-25 bikes, but as Dave has already said, we don't want to book a big stand then only have a few bikes.
