  1. Hi Dezza - the gauge on the silver Bandit is a KOSO TNT unit. I drilled the rear caliper bracket to fit the sensor and it’s held in place with a grub screw. I don’t like the extra wiring around the front wheel or sprocket cover, so this works well as the swingarm hides the sensor and wiring. ...same setup on the new/black bike:
  2. Thanks SiBag!! On a whim,* I decided to swap in a Shorai battery from one of my other Bandits, and voila! So, the m.unit is fine, and I'll be speaking with Shorai. *actually, my wife said, "just put in another battery." </blush>
  3. Well, I would have it back together, but the m.unit is completely dead. Odd since the bike’s just been sitting, and I even started it a few times since tear down. I checked all the usual suspects and the m.unit is getting 12V (and ground) but does not power on. I’ve sent a message to Motogadget and Spiegler-USA. Any m.unit users have one shit the bed?
  4. Fastec finished the clutch cover. I think it turned out great!! I can't wait to get this on my bike.
  5. Yes, please but perhaps the OP could consider changing the title of the thread?
  6. Thanks! All three of my Bandits have material removed from their frames so that they weigh juuuuust under two tons.
  7. Having this machined in the near future...
  8. Thanks Dezza ! I'm 99.9% sure these are the ones I found on cmsnl.com.
  9. Thanks Dezza! Part numbers would be nice. Worst case scenario, I'll order a set from csnl.com.
  10. Thanks. Would that be the 90-91 750?
  11. I know this is an old thread, but are the 13101-41C00-13104-41C00 too big for 38mm Mikuni RS carburetors? I know the Bandit 1200 inlet rubbers will work with 38mm MIkunis, but I'd rather get a set that doesn't require force and stretching when fitting the RS38s.
  12. Looks good! Are you leaving it silver?
  13. Here's a pic from a few months ago with a '94 (US) RF900 swingarm with a '98 (US) R1 swingarm brace welded on: Not a very good pic, but here's a shot of the other side:
  14. Just a thought...the RF900R swingarm is a direct swap for the Bandit 1200, has a torque arm-less caliper bracket setup, and GSXR-type axle adjusters.
  15. Try swapping in a working battery from another bike. Unloaded battery voltage can be misleading.
  16. Some updates to the '97, including a new exhaust system, ISR masters, new shocks, etc. I also picked this up in November '17: I modified a fiberglass RGV250 tail and slingshot 750 fairing: Yokes and stem machined by Fastec: m-Unit, m-Button, and m-Switch equipped: Slingshot 750 forks with GSX-R600 fork tubes anodized and stanchions DLC coated: Brembo 4-pad calipers: One-off (machined by Fastec) rear caliper bracket for Brembo caliper 1216 JE pistons, Web 236 intake cam, ported head, Ohnishi Heat Magic full titanium system, RF900R swingarm with '98 R1 brace: Agras and K-Factory bling: Agras sliders and GSG-Moto starter cover:
  17. I thought I once saw a list of swingarm pivot widths on OSS, but a search came up empty. Specifically, I'm looking for the swingers pivot width for a 1993 GSX-R750. Anyone know?
  18. Yes, thanks Gixer1460 that's the part. I'm looking to have a machinist make a billet piece, and he needs the specs on the splines.
  19. Does anyone know the specs (number of splines) on the shift shaft and the linkage part that slips over it on the 1200 cc bandit? Thanks!
  20. Hi - I'm having a machinist fab me a custom top yoke. It will replace a GSX-R750 piece. I've searched a bit, but came up empty. Could someone please tell me the offset (distance from stem hole center to line connecting fork hole centers) and the fork spacing? Many thanks in advance.
