  1. The bike I posted is a 1100 m. Not a 750. I sold the frame, knuckle and swingarm to Jeroen. Maybe I used a different length dogbones. I am not sure. I had several sizes. @SpikeSpike can you measure the dogbones if you still have the setups?
  2. I have done several conversion. Using all the Busa stuff, knuckle, dogbones etc. With the standard shocklenght it should be plu and play.
  3. Yes, mounted to the centre stand. The kit contains everything you need. Also the long bolts etc.
  4. I took the easy way and bought a complete kit from Custom Wolf Germany. Ment for a gsxr 1100 swingarm but I put a 1250 bandit swingarm in. I can make some measurements if you want.
  5. I hope to be there with the freshly built gsx 1200 ET.
  6. Or have a set custom made by a friend. Robinjo made these out of bandit rearsets
  7. Like this?
  8. Okay, that looks nice. Thanks for the explanation.
  9. Hello, I am building a gsx 1100 et with a bandit 1200 engine. I have a nice bandit swingarm with Lucky 7 shockmounts and a nice set of YSS shocks. So I want to keep it twin shocked. The left top shock mount looked like it was welded before and this evening the thread on the mount snapped off. I am no technician so what is the best way to repair it? Can those mounts be replaced with new ones after some grinding and welding? What are your ideas/examples of repairing? Thanks.
  10. I would take a good look inside the fueltank. Ten years not using will take its toll when not stored well. But 600 euro's isn't much and everything can be repaired. I have a set of sidepannels indeed for a lot less then Eblag and you have to paint them anyway.
  11. Oke, thats nice to hear. Also it has a hydraulic clutch. Havent counted the fins yet but it will be a 1200 for sure I believe.
  12. Thanks all. Bought an engine from a guy who seems to be reliable. Had a chitchat at his home about bikes, streetfighters. He was selling parts of stalled projectbike. For a reasonable price I bought the engine, carbs, loom and stainless Hindle exhaust. When I got home I noticed the missing of the engine number and the missing cc on the block. Called him and he assured it was a 1200 and told me that it was already removed when he bought it a few years ago. Downside, I can not sell it anymore. Brightside, I have to use it myself. Saw it running and it was fine.
  13. Hello all, I know it's a strange question but how can I tell if a bandit mk1 engine has 600 or 1200 cc's besides engine number or the numbers on the cylinderblock? Are there some kind of visual differences? Thanks.
  14. When the EF is ready in time I will bring it otherwise I take my fightered Busa for a spin.
