Ive got a gsx 750 f motor i`m using as a dummy motor to fit in to a gs 650 g frame but want to use a bandit 12 motor. I know the lower mounts are the same but whats the difference in the height of the 2 motors.? the 750f motor is 73 bore and 44.7 stroke and the bandit 12 motor is 79 x 59 mm? so am I right in assuming that the bandit 12 motor is 14.3 mm taller ? Is there anything else I need to take into consideration? thanks

usually when you design something if it looks right its generally is right, your swinging arm looks far from right. I would not be comfortable using that for anything other than a door stop.

Thats a big chunk taken out of that swingingarm.?

Are the engine mounting points on the frame the same for GSX750f motors and bandit 12/ GSXR 11 and powerscreen 1100 motors? Thanks

Don`t know about frame differences but I put a gsxf 750 motor in a 550 kat frame and it was tight with the tank so would imagine a B12 would be even tighter. 370steve put a b12 in a 750 frame see the project section , mighty fine it is to. looks like the way to go.

What size hose reducers you using Scott, cant get to my bike to measure. I`ve been using individual k&n`s but think I`ll give this set up a go.

Looking at the state of the corrosion on the frame I would be seriously worried about its integrity especially around high stress areas.

Was this one a Steve Adams lucky seven build ? looks familiar.

Just used them. As been said a bit pricey but excellent service and can`t fault them.

I wouldn`t bother with the 13l unless your going for the original, there are a lot of great silvers out there which look better and will give you that sleeper look. I did mine in Triumph flamboyant silver.
