My m clutch handled 170 fine with one standard and one heavy duty spring, lever pressure was noticeably harder.

YII'd be tempted to use something like a Ford Monoblock 4 post coil - cheaper than Dyna's, dead reliable and perfect for wasted spark!
Stick COP's can be used with a Dyna / Dyna 2000 as long as you add a resistor to up the total resistance to 3.0 ohms per stick which is happy with dyna and OEM
A good friend who bit of a whizz has always said stick coils better to have an ecu capable to drive them, but hey not my field of expertise so personally I do not know.

Yes stick coils are good if using aftermarket ecu do not think would work with dyna ignition.

As Clive said attach to cylinder head itself.

Is there an altetnative on market to dyna coils, mines being playing up just sussed it today when it broke down more convincingly.
That two I know of now that have failed not old ones either. What leads are people using.?
-
I broke down on the way there started miss firing again. Only good thing finally sussed it dyna coil on the blink.

It probably moved the power to help you get off line quicker many factors alter quarter mile, depends on your set up and state of tune what I have seen on dyno 1 degree gave slight increase anymore simply tilted the curve.
-
You can slot it no problem, but remember nothing free it's a trade off your just moving power. With back to back runs on dyno I found 1 degree was optimum.
Could it be your actually removing variability and just setting it to where it actually should be.
Don't slot it in wrong direction

I thought no more turbo's or did I miss understand.
Through carbs again?

Glass headers what ever next.

Katana,
Any more space on stand just got mine running right now, for Saturday.

get the gears undercut makes them a lot tougher
I'm afraid it does not make them ttougher but what it actually does is make the gears engage and stay locked and not bounce back apart or jump out of gear however you wish to call it.
-
Take head off do it properly can check your valve seats then too.

nice bikes, i really will have to get a trip to santa pod in to spectate, keep saying i,m going and still haven,t got round to it
The finals time to go, come and say hello just igore the fact I'm getting hands dirty with Kwak.

If you see some gearboxes I have replaced I would certainly stick with 5 speed. I have personally had the dogs shear off side of second gear with a scary lock up coming into a corner.
The 6 speeds just not got the same strength especially when you have an engine making good power.

It's 91 m heavily modified got to say handling is awesome got some real good lap times out of it. Only Limiting factor is ground clearance and geometry of rear swing arm angle, but hey they were never designed for that sort abuse, so finding very interesting views on special frames.
-
Clive defiantly needs bigger cooler unless you attach fan to cooler little triumph ones work well.
-
Thendles well for an old bike. The idea of the build was to put a powerful motor in a frame that would handle well, so pretty short and set up for going round corners, not in straight lines. Nowhere near as good as a modern sportsbike, but good enough - apart from the wastegate hitting the floor on left handers! thats the next job!
Always wondered how they handled, as considered would that be way forward with my slingshot as come to limit of it really now i think..
I rode friends haris copy, seemed to have all right bits and geometry, it was awful hated it.

Fuel tap, start at basics, and pilot jets

That is really interesting will have to give this some thought. What coils did you use.
