Never seen one in a GS. I think the hub is too wide. Certainly not in a twin shock I tried for about three months to get a Busa rim into mine.

here ya go, GSX14 swing arm, CBR1000RR wheel (had busa wheel in before)

OK, thanks for that, I have to get rid of the points but I want to make sure that I get the right bits, ie. if I need to change regulator /rectifier, coils, points plate etc. Lots to learn.

contact Ignitech, they are usually quick to reply (y)

As has already been said, a Q plate doesn't have the stigma of 20 years ago and you don't get penalised by insurance, if anything it shows you have done things like right way!!

Remember all insurance companies first thought is how can I get out of paying for this :(

yep, just insured my "Q" plate GS, insurance co didnt ask any questions (y)

370Steve, so they made a billet basket, not used the 1000 basket?

The 1000 basket looks like it has very similar rivet spacing which would make the process easier. Does anyone have a bandit basket on a bench to measure the rivet spacing?

no idea if the 1000 basket will fit mate, i just got into talks with SNT for one after seeing their B12 race engine with one fitted.

I'm thinking I might take this on during the winter months but can't find enough info on the web. I've got an excellent 09 1000 clutch assembly but it doesn't look too straight forward so before I pull out the bandit clutch, has anyone ever done this mod that can also share some step by step knowledge.

you just need the basket to go with one, i had SNT Race Engineering sort my basket, they took my B12 basket apart and fitted the billet basket to the B12 bits, only mods were a small chamfer to the No4 con rod bolt to get clearance on the basket.

sticks out just a little bit further than stock clutch, i fitted an MTC spacer (overkill) but a much smaller one will do.20201116_153709.thumb.jpg.914c2c1e8c3daf4264dff4549029d7c1.jpg

Hi , what basket are you using for the slipper clutch to run with ? I’m trying to get one fitted into a race bike bandit 600

in the pic it is a stock B12 basket.

Ive had no issues with ignitech one, maybe to do with being able to play with the delay time as well as the kill time.

Granted its not like a new bike, but its not like oldskool quickshifters either that only work flat chat at high rpm

what delay are you using? i have found 60Ms of kill good so far
