    Which ones go straight in?

    Carbs and rubbers further complications?

Everyones a bleedin' comedian today Jake.:)

But if you mean a GSXR 1100, Yes it will fit, the external dimensions of all the oil cooled motors are the same, b12 and 1100 gsxr and power screen motors drop strainght in.. 600/750's are slightly differant but still fit...

with the correct rubbers any carbs will fit as well:tu

I don't do 'roundy, roundy' stuff and I know everyone has different abilities but the first minute of that was embarrassing - getting passed inside, outside - everyside. They are the sort of riders as described by @bluedog59 above, I think?

Or could it have been the talent, skill and good looks of the Bandit rider that made it look so easyB|:tu:D

as long as the gaskets undamaged and very clean and degreased, 5 coats of Halfords primer each side and off you go..

no guarantees but I’ve not had one leak yet:tu

First thing I did matey. say what now!? shock, pregressive front spring and braced rear arm coming next. All before I start the engine...

Probably ride it and make a decision on upsidedowners and uprated calipers.

Mind if I ask how your CVs get on wjtb the filters and what filters they are?

CVs and airbox removal haven't gone so well for me lol

When I first built the engine 12 years ago, I had 40 mm mikky roonies on it and it made 152 after setting up on a dyno, but they were a pain, tick over was never stable and they were always going out of balance!!

I fitted the standard carbs with Ramair filters And Holeshot racing carb kit from Dale Walker, they have been spot on ever since,

all I’ve done to the engine since are oil changes, clean carbs a couple of times, tappets and a new clutch..

Still pulls like a train and able to hold its own on track days :tu

  6. My 3rd engine is a standard bore with High Comp pistons from Dale Winton, same head work and cams and exhaust and it feels totally different

not been o. Dyno yet but definitely revs more freely but dosent have  the torque out of bends,

yes it was a saving but not much they cost the. Same as 1216 pistons:tu

I spoke to Roger Upperton about my plans and he said the standard carbs were easily good for 150bhp plus.

    Exactly, I’ve got 2 150 rwhp motors on Standard 36mm mikky roonies:tu

spend the money on cams head work and 1216 kit before flatside:tu
