  1. This one had a single disc but then he took the front end off a yammagamma apparently. I'm fine with that, nice and responsive.
  2. oh yes, I can't stop starting it up to listen to it, dam it sounds good. I love taking its picture too. Its very photogenic lol The wife wants to take her bike test now so she can ride it too. I'd love that and can't wait.
  3. The tyres are proper early 80's skinny, quite funny. The bike is so light aswell.
  4. what a double act. Fucking awesome (could have done the an extra 250cc but I'm over the moon regardless)
  5. dont know how to post video's and them links are supposed to display the image
  6. My mate had an RG 250 mk1 in his shed but he's a Yamaha man. Well after getting me to part with £800 its mine and in my garage. Needs a few wear and tear things replaced and a general clean and service and I can get it mot'd. Its that or strip it down for a deep clean and tidy things up with some paint which I could do when winter comes back round. http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g396/paddy-b/Mobile%20Uploads/WP_20160330_21_01_31_Pro_zps9qdhnbra.jpg[/IMG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKRoMSfbqxg
  7. Didn't realise there was a 907 kit, I thought it only went up to 800 and something. Is it cost effective over just 7/11 ??
  8. Thanks Captain. I'm collecting more bodywork atm so she has two outfits to choose from. Still undecided on which colour scheme to go with. Got a mint standard pipe in the loft aswell.
  9. Well after 2 yrs of hair pulling and threats of violence with a sledgehammer and a few Gerry cans of fuel I've finally got my slabby back on the road after a top end rebuild. If something could go wrong it did and if mistakes could be made I made them lol. Its all forgetting when your riding again though. There is an Oss badge in the top two pics at an obscure angle if your eagle eyed enough to spot it.
  10. Did you drug him.or get him pissed first??
  11. what about sticking a long screw driver against your ear and against the bottom of each barrel? Wouldn't that be quicker ? I've had an alternator sound like that, I thought my engine was fucked. Well maybe not as knocky but it was loud and knocky
  12. oh come on!!!! Stop being such a tease you bitch
  13. here you go, as you can see the housing is a lot deeper and has elongated ends to fit the bracket Eblag is full of items listed as slabby when they aren't. Most common is people advertising slingshot parts as slabby.
  14. That headlight isn't a slabby 750/1100 not sure if you've sorted it but I can post an image of mine if you havent
  15. I bought an EBC rear disc for mine and it was hideous. It was an oily goldy colour and just ruined the look of the bike. I sent it back and was told they no longer do a correct or at least vaguely matching disc. I ended up with a used TL1000 one as they are identical except for thickness . Not checked for compatible fronts though.
  16. I wish i was as lucky as you. Mine was a scored barrel so it was a strip down rather than just a little 'tap' with a screw driver handle.
  17. put an ad in practical sportsbike , I'm confident the new owner will be in touch after
  18. you want me outa the country aswell
  19. I'll get my coat, TAXI !!!!
  20. Flatslides don't take kindly to ham fisted wrist action. Also make sure the accelerator pumps are all working.
