    Mallory Bike Bonanza ! July 8/9th Run by Vintage MCC, road bikes on track Saturday, race bikes Sunday, all sorts of club stands, bands and beer Saturday night etc Ive got the old GS booked for 3 sessions on Saturday already. My mate uses his V-Max, it's worth going just to watch that. Lol

    Long story but it was GS engine and frame, everything else GSX11.

    There is a GS1000 with full GSX bodywork on. A few years back that was.

    I wish I could get up there but I'm in the middle of moving house, I'm away on a course Monday and Tuesday, so should be getting it in a week or so. I can't wait, last GS1000 I owned was bloody nearly 40 years ago

    Yep sure is and I'm in fecking Bournemouth ! I bought it on the strength of a conversation with the owner and a look at the pics. Sometimes if you fall in love you just gotta make it happen.

    A similar one poped up on Eblag last year, it had a power screen 1100 motor in it, it looked really well built.

    Hi all I would like to introduce my self, just joined today. So i'm getting on a bit know but still well into my bikes, back in the day I was very much a Suzuki geezer having a Kettle, 2 GS1000 and a GSX11 all before I turned 23. Had more bikes than I can remember since then, and I have just left a deposit on a rather nice modified GS1000. Once I pick it up and get it home, and once I work out how to post some pics I'll get some up. I like the odd Classic bike meet so hope to meet some of you guys at Cadwell, Donny or maybe the Bonanza at Mallory. Cheers,
