Thanks madb, I've been thinking today I might do a restoration project on this one, strip it and rebuild it hopefully to a near New condition, I haven't done that before and could be a nice change for the headaches of custom work, I'll have to research tho and what parts to keep original but I guess all of it, I might have to get a parts cleaner and clean every bolt lol, its just so much fun I don't think I want to chop it up, some of the fairings are badly damaged so that'll be tricky then trying to match paint. I'll keep thinking tho for a bit

Good to hear your out and about on it mate, mine is still a little rough and after riding the new gsxr today I can see how un tuned it is. I fell in love after that ride, I only insured it for the day to have a good and now I don't want to strip it down, it's so Smith and fun to ride and getting your head tucked down was great, I haven't rode like that before, I'm tempted now to sell the wn streetfighter and keep the oil cooler and use that money to buy a new project lol. Big decisions to make

I noticed this once I got the bike home and thought it didn't look right, there completely different to my wn carbs so was hoping if someone could tell me if there damaged or can be fixed? There's a plastic thing underneath that isn't connected to anything, looks like something may have broke off

Thanks guys, where can I find one of these Chinese ones? Are there listed as gsxr oil cooler on Eblag? I really want to get some tidy hoses too, do they come as a gsxr kit or are they called something different?

I'm doing a streetfighter build on my gsxr and wanted to get a nice oil cooler and upgrade the lines that feed it, I just wanted to see what people recommend and where might be the best place to get them? I've seem hel do them but is there anywhere else that'll also do the oil lines too. Cheers

I fitted a hayabusa swingarm to my gsxr wn but wanted to know if it would also fit a a gsxr 1990? I'm not sure if the frame seems narrower. Cheers

Hi everyone in usually found in the water cooled section but after my new purchase today I'll be moving over so I hope I don't annoy everyone. I just wanted to know if there was any information on the differences in the different models types of the gsxr 750 say 88 -91? I've got a 92 wn and after buying my new bike a 750 1990 there's a lot of difference in things like the thickness of the frame the tank etc.the guy I bought it off said that the previous year the 1989 was a much sought after bike and I wanted to know why? Thanks guys, I managed to find the problem, I fitted a t piece to the carb breather pipes because I have pod filters and ran them to a breather filter, iv diddly realise but one of the ends on the train piece was a few mm smaller than the opposite side to I drilled it out and it's fine now so it must of been sucking in uneven amounts of air to the different carbs.

I've just changed the cam breather cover gasket it was a lot of work removing the thermostat so I had to move a lot of bits, I tested it before I fixed everything down and it started and idled fine for 10 minutes, after I put everything back together I went to go for a ride but after I started it up it sounded like it was going to die then popped and banged then spat a flame out the exhaust, I'm not sure what's happened because it was fine before I fixed everything down, just wondered if anyone knew what this could be? One of the spark plug plugs came off the ht lead but I fitted that back on and it idled fine. Cheers

I just wanted to see if you can re use the cam breather cover gasket? I made the stupid mistake of fitting it before I fitted the cam cover and then I couldn't slide out through the frame so I had to take it back off lol, I don't have another to hand but can order one, just wanted to see if I could re use it? No I don't think it was retourqed fazz :-( I think I learnt a lesson there, I think I'll try tourqing it up first them. Would you recommend replacing the rubber camcover gaskets when I take it off or do you think re using them will be ok? Will the cams have to come out? I can't remember if any of the bolts are hidden by them. Thanks

I've noticed a small oil seepage coming from the corner of the head, it's not leaking but it's always a little oily so some must be coming through, I've tried to show in the picture, just wanted to see if anyone would recommend I change the gasket? It's fairly new and I've only done 500 miles on it since the engine was built two years ago. My dad said to re torque the bolts that attach the head to the engine? Just wanted to ask on here to see if anyone could help. Cheers

Sounds like it's moving on nicely mate, how do you bend the pipes? Do you put something inside to stop it from deforming? Yeah put some pics up I'd like to see how it's looking.
