You know, sometimes you regret selling a bike....well, here's a pic of my old Gixxerbuell that I should of kept..... I went to visit this 2 weeks ago, as I'm in contact with the guy that bought it. It's up for sale sometime soon, so might be coming home. (Although his price is very optimistic !) I built this in 8 weeks back in 2007.... It was a complete array of parts from - Slingy, Slabbie, Busa, GSX1400, VFR750 / 800, Buell, Thumpstar, TL1000R, VFR400, GSXR750WN, B&Q and an old Washing Machine !!!! Our good friend, sadly no longer with us did all of the powder-coating for free... Allan Morrison, we'll have a pint together again someday my friend ! Lot's of one-off bits made with help from Katanamangler.... When Scott rode it, he said it's like an 1100cc motocrosser !!!! Will I buy it back ??? Once I've removed the rose tinted glasses i'll make a decision.... Maybe i'll build another just like and Turbo the fucker !!!!

AND.....it's got a PROPER engine, offered by the GODS of Hamamatsu !!!!!!

Rick, have you got an earth strap from the back of the engine direct to the - terminal on the battery ? I had a big bore ET that really struggled when hot to spin over on the button... Turned out that the powder coat on the frame and the paint on the engine was giving too much resistance and not allowing a good connection. I scrubbed a small bit of paint off one of the case bolt mounts at the rear of the engine to bare metal and then ran a strap straight to the - Terminal on the battery and the issue was gone ! Worth considering !
