  1. Bloody great! another stunning bike on me wish list
  2. Take as long as you need, looks like it's going to be top quality when it's finished
  3. Totally agree with everybody else, finish the 750. As "no class" said the chain alignment conundrum can be solved, as will any other problems that arise. The amount and quality of knowledge on these hallowed pages is truly OSSUM
  4. I like this a lot! Do they make them to fit a GSX750es and where can I get one?
  5. Unlucky on on the blow upSome great looking bikes though.
  6. Looks like you all had a GREAT time, wish I could have been there (maybe next year?) Congratulations to OSS winning show bikes Is the red GSX ES the one built by Simon Francis of SF SERVICES? If so does anyone have his contact details, or is he on here? thanks.
  7. Thanks everybody all info given is greatly appreciated. Thats right Toni Oil cooled engines go in but tank has to raised and then side panels altered, Scotty is on with one on here but not heared anything for a while.Hope you enjoyed your San Miguel & pizza. Had look at the link Captain but will probably go with standard engine as cheaper option. Like that shock though.
  8. Was worried about that, what is the reason it won't fit? Waiting for obvious answer now.................Cos It's too big! Seriously though is it too tall or what?
  9. I've found a ES engine on Eblag for £165, so that be a plan, unless I find a 1100EFE engine first.
  10. SOMETHING I DID,HOW DARE YOU! In hindsight, like Danm54 said hanging it from the centre probably wasn't a good idea. I've never known a head as solidly stuck as that the only way it was comming off was as a casualty of war!
  11. Told you it was stuck! I think it's the bikes way of telling me it want's a bigger engine
  12. OH SHITE!!!! head's cracked. Looks like I need another cylinder head. Don't suppose anybody's got an 1100 EFE engine to sell me that would cheer me right up
  13. Thanks guy's for all this advice, situation so far is the engine is hanging from shed roof, hopefully weight of engine and gravity will have some effect? Good idea with the rope or diesel though will try that tomorrow.
  14. Thanks SRR thats what I've been doing, no movement yet but will keep at it. U.P.F. cheers Dezza will mix some up and give it a try.
  15. Thanks I will leave it soaking and will get a dead blow hammer and try that
  16. I tried with stud extractor, but not enough clearance and no luck with two nuts locked together.Patience and penetrating oil required then. Thanks for reply.
  17. Cheers Katanamangler it is Sorry about ending up with 3 posts on same topic. Don't know if it's possible join them into one or how to delete two
  18. Totally agree, looks like sodding track pad thingy button sticking or I was a bit heavy handed thinking about that sodding engine
  19. Has anybody any ideas or tips for removing my cylinder head from my 750 es? I've been pouring diesel and penetrating oil down the studs, but its still stuck solid. Starting to annoy me now, had to come out of the shed because I was starting to look at a SLEDGE HAMMER
