Most in here are thrifty with cash, so would just put a full bandit front end in, for less money than period correct aftermarket calipers......

@clivegtothe stem on this is much longer about 273mm but it has had an extension piece welded in the middle. and it’s definitely a good 30.5 diameter at the bottom where I hadn’t pressed it in all the way
that .4 of a millimetre is enough for the (gsxr) stem to drop out. and still baffled why it wasn’t long enough at 256mm.
sounds like you have bandit stem...

there are a lot of ngk copies being sold. They snap in half and are shocking quality......

Back is always a chain/tyre/chassis rubbing combo/compromise...

I know Roger does them, but he’s packed out with jobs, I’ve purchased 1.5mm oversized valves and need the head machining to suit the valves.
Recommendations folks, did ponder SEP, as they are not to far away from me, and prefer face to face contact.Grumpy?

M & N heads universally accepted as best stock flowing heads, its just no one trusts the shims (which on a relatively low revving, peak power 'big' engine shouldn't be an issue). Question - why would Suzuki san put the 'best' flowing head on the most under performing engine in its line-up?
No tooling changes.... put some wussie cams in and 4mm smaller carbs makes a great torquey tourer.......All out of parts bins.... genius.....

The rack extensions are 60-70 quid... spacer is about an inch thick.
