@DuckndiveIs right they have been machined down, I have a brand new set sat on the shelf I never got round to using yet. 79mm pistons with a comp of 13.:1 1166cc for 1052 & 1186cc for the 1127. You need to do a bit of measuring.

A dry build seems to be in order, im in no rush thou this is a long term turbo build

Get a close up pic of the silver ID plate on the core, the turbine housing deffo isn't a Cosworth T3. Possibly Escort RS Turbo with the elbow removed

I think it might be a Garrett T3 from a S2 Escort RS Turbo, the S1 Didn't have water cooling through the core.

Some pics with and without the blank gasket/plate in and the only markings I can see

That's the bit that would have been fitted if it was still on the escrote. Might even be a Chinese/aftermarket one if its not got a Garrett plate on the core
