Exhaust cam

I'm replacing my exhaust camshaft next oil change ,has worn  one lobe like the inlet cam did 10,000 km ago.its a mk1 1200 bandit with 65000 km on the clock, don't want to loose low down power but a little more up top would be good. Has anyone fitted the exhaust cam from a mk2 and dyno ed or noticed any difference in power? Mk2 suppose to have a bit more hp and torque than mk1.  Anyone run a stock mk1 against a stock mk2 in a race ???

you wont be able to notice the difference, they are supposed to be slightly different and have different part numbers, ive used both in the same engine and couldnt tell a farts worth of :tu

acording to the originla spwecs

Mark 1  1200 98 hp and 83.6 nm

Mar 2  1200  98 hp and 91.7 nm

Iv ridden both black to back ages ago, and i couldnt feel the extra 8 torqueso.O

If you do use 1100F cams make sure there is sufficient valve collet to valve guide clearance.  It is close on the inlet - not sure about the exhaust though.
