Astandane Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Hi guys, Im currently I the progress of rebuilding a 1991 GSX750f which had been sat in a garden for two years, as well as suffering via some previous owners. The front forks needs to be totally replaced as they are A; different, and B; not in the best of condition. Aside from buying the exact same forks, are there any from other models that will bolt straight in without modification? The rear shock was incredibly bouncy when fitted, and also incredibly dirty-though it seems ok. This aside, can anyone recommend companies who may restore this unit for me? Or again, alternative replacements. Many thanks as as this is my first rebuild :) Edited August 13, 2015 by Astandane Quote

Rossco(Iceman Josros) Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Most GSXR front ends will fit with a change of bearings Quote
Rene EFE Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Slingshot forks are a straight fit and give you better brakes and decent tirechoice. Quote
Rene EFE Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Like so. Bike in picture has 4.5 rear as well, which fits with some persuasion. 1 Quote
