Spadge Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Hi all, Back with more questions. I sold the God awful S1000RR shock after it failed to fit in a spectacular fashion (well not that spectacular really), and bought myself a K7 shock. Once again this is described by other fellow waterboilers as a 'bolt on' mod. Am I just special (rhetorical question) because in my case it isn't. The spring is too wide to fit between the dog bones without resistance on the spring. Can someone who has done this mod please advise me regarding the process they followed and whether it was necessary for them to make spacers to widen the gap between the dog bones to make it work. Thanks in advance Quote
Madb Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 can you put some pics up plz @Spadge lower link and bell crank. someone on here has just done the same but hasn't mention any problems, tho they are using the banana arm. but the linkage is the same. not any wider than yours should be. something odd going on there. Pasis Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Apparently, bushings and longer bolts are needed to fit the shock absorber. 1 Quote

No, I do not know the sizes, but it is not difficult to calculate. I now faced a similar problem on my new shock absorber. Quote
