gixxert1100 Posted January 11, 2018 Share Posted January 11, 2018 hey im building an 1984 katana with an 1127 GSXR1100 M engine my question to ye out there is i was thinking of fitting a motogadget M-Unit blue unit to run the lights/start/horn/indicators ect. and was also thinking of fitting motogadget handlebar switches for a clean no visible wiring look. i will be fitting drag bars n risers. has anyone out there fitted this gear? is it reliable? i will be driving this bike,,,,its not for carrying around in the back of a van to shows:) any info would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment
Z32650S Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Motogadget gear is top notch and relatively bulletproof, at least the M-Units are with their solid state fuses. Gauges and buttons are more sensitive to botched wiring or current overloads but still very high quality gear. I personally wouldn't think twice, if mortgaging your house for electronics is an option... 2 Quote Link to comment
370steve Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 I am just about to do a full Motogadget M-unit Basic fit (M-button and M-lock and wiring kit), but will be using OEM suzuki switches. havent started to do the fit yet though, going to wait till after i have had the 1216 kit fitted.
