hey

im building an 1984 katana with an 1127 GSXR1100 M engine

my question to ye out there is i was thinking of fitting a motogadget M-Unit blue unit to run the lights/start/horn/indicators ect. and was also thinking of fitting motogadget handlebar switches for a clean no visible wiring look. i will be fitting drag bars n risers.

has anyone out there fitted this gear? is it reliable?

i will be driving this bike,,,,its not for carrying around in the back of a van  to shows:) :):)

any info would be greatly appreciated

Motogadget gear is top notch and relatively bulletproof, at least the M-Units are with their solid state fuses. Gauges and buttons are more sensitive to botched wiring or current overloads but still very high quality gear. I personally wouldn't think twice, if mortgaging your house for electronics is an option...

I am just about to do a full Motogadget M-unit Basic fit  (M-button and M-lock and wiring kit), but will be using OEM suzuki switches.

havent started to do the fit yet though, going to wait till after i have had the 1216 kit fitted.
