Gsxr600srad forks size?

Recommended Posts

Looking at some gsxr600 srad (96-98 rwu) forks for a project, and I need to know what length they are?

Was told by one person they are 775mm? Someone else told me 730mm?

Both from top to center of spindle.

Any help thanks.

The gsxr750 slingshot are 730mm (rwu) the gsxr1100 slingshot are apx 760mm, don't know about the RF6 but, I fort the srad forks where 45mm diameter?

Something in the back of my head says the RF6 forks where 41mm diameter?

Yeah rf600 are 41mm but sure they are same  length but  who knows with suzuki . I went with  gsxr 1100 w ones on mine because said they where the longest   but Bandit 400  are 820mm which allows for the 17" im putting on instead of the 19"

What project???  teh 600 srad are very beefy good forks,  a mate raced one and when set up the thing handles and braked brilliantly, 400 bandit forks are really spindly by comparison, how much length do you need???

1200 bandit ones are 43mm and 770 mm long but have bugger all adjust ability except spring comp..:tu

That's a good question, I know, using a GS/GSX 750,1000,1100 frame to get the ground clearance about 760mm ( or should I say I'm using gsxr1100k on my kat ;)) but this will be for a gs650 framed project, so may get away with a shorter fork?

Just been out tut shed. Have  srad 600 front end 1997. Measures 281/2 inches or 724mm in euro speak. From ctr of spindle to top face of cap nut. Maybe a bit tired on springs soo add a few mm. :)
