Nakered crank

Helping mate rebuild  his motor for next season 

Bandit 1200 with dot head

Crank is nakered dude to oil starvation 

I have 1127 powerscreen crank and rods ,clutch in box  

Will get lightened and balanced 

Has anyone used powescreen crank in bandit motor?????

Or should i get another bandit crank?

Hasn't the Powerscreen got a Helical primary whereas the Blandit is straight cut?

Yes it has ,

I have complete clutch to go with it though

If you are going racing with it, helical gears tend to put side load on the crank, clutch, gearbox.  I'd try and keep the straight cut assembly.

It is for pre tt and Scarborough  so will be raced 

So powerscreem not advisable then?

Found another crank in attic in box mint has straight cut primary  46teeth and 40c stamped on crank is that slingshot or slabby?

Think slabby has 45 not sure anyone????

K  L  1100 slingshot parts diagram  has 12220 40C00 for the crank.

Don't know the numbers but I would go with straight cut gears even if it means having to scout around for a clutch.  Easier to do it now rather than later.
