Now assuming that was at the crank, and possibly slightly optimistic, what do we think a good standard GS would make at the wheel on a modern dyno ? Has anyone tested a standard one lately ? Quote
gs7_11 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Mine was 75 when standard. With a 1085 Wiseco kit and a 4:1 and jetting, it was 90. That was a different dyno. That was a while back. Last time it was dyno'd (different dyno again of course) it was 114 at the wheel. That's as above plus Kent cams, RS36's, gas-flowed large port head. 1 Quote

wraith Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Most gs1000 standard will only make 70-80bhp at the rear wheel on the best of days, back in the day Suzuki quoted bhp at the crank not the rear wheel. Quote
