hijack here but I think Lammy is asking the same question I have. There are a plethora of seals and gaskets out there but which are any good? I suspect a lot on a well known internet auction site may be crap.

Cash is always the issue

there are loads available but not too sure of the quality.

Go for OEM seals.  You know where you are with them. Gaskets. Better quality pattern Jap ones aren't bad,  as are Cometic. Big name bearings from a good supplier are fine , but some Suzuki gearbox bearings are either pegged, or an odd size. In that case you'll have to bite the bullet! And they're bloody expensive. Alternatively, you may be lucky in finding a Suzuki dealer that's had NOS gear on his shelves for years.

If you're replacing bearings, stock ones are mostly NSK and can be sourced online much cheaper than through suzuki, I use simply bearings as a supplier. The oddball ones will be an OE item though.... If you use a parts list, very often the size and heat code are given too, for example 6002 C3
