Dukeman Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 GS1100 and GS1150 pressure switch / top end oil connector the same? Not sure what to call it but the housing that bolts on to the back of the engine under the carbs.... is the 1150 and 1100 units interchangeable? How important do people rate the oil pressure switch? Im running a 1230efe in a kat and are looking to add a top end oiler but I will lose the oil pressure switch. Unless I get a facny unit that has this connection... is the cost worth it? This unit is for a 1100 will it fit a 1150? Quote
Duckndive Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Yes there the same on the 16v motors I ran my top end from the end off the gallery. 1 Quote

Jonboy Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 If you have an oil take off on the gallery, do you need to block the oilway inthe crankcase leading up through the the studs? Quote
Dukeman Posted June 19, 2017 Author Posted June 19, 2017 This is what I have purchased. Looks like the oil pressure switch can be still used? 1 Quote
dago Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 i didn't block off the oil ways to the studs, but i have the up rated pump gears. some people say you should and some say you shouldn't bit of a debate about it on various sites, make sure the take off banjo bolt isn't to long as can block oil feed to crank bearing 1 Quote
