Starter gear thrust washers

Guys,my starter gear has no thrust washers fitted (2 of) as mentioned in the Haynes manual (albeit shown in an ET type engine.)

There is no mention of them being omitted in the back of the manual either.Robinsons parts finder does not show them on their schematic...So,do EFE's have them?..I would have thought so but I wanted to be sure.
