Give them a hint - ie what's it off?

Its off a slingy frame .... it is that thingy that goes on the pivot shaft for the swingarm .

I am fitting the complete suspension off a k5 gsxr 1000 onto my 83' kat 1100 . I have already widened the frame to accept the 6" wheel while keeping the chain run free and clear of the tire and inner frame rails . The swingarm spindles of the k5 and onwards use a 28x1.5 mm theead . I machined new frame inserts to suit the larger pivot bolt . I want the option of having the 20 mm pivot shaft as well..... funny thing is I have binned quite a few of those locknut thingies over the years and now I could sure use one ! ..... or at least the thread size so I can make one.

I think it's M24 but I may be wrong, I've got a Tap in that size as the lovely powdercoaters filled the threads in my frame up and I had to clean them out before I could put the bike together.

I'll double check the tap size and post it up later on
