7/12 wiring

Put a b12 engine in my slingshot, using original wiring loom. On the b12 motor there are three wires from the neutral  switch, blue, red and green .

On loom there is only the blue, are the red and green needed anyone done this and can help, thanks

just connect the blue one, that's the neutral light wire. The two others are for retarding the ignition in 1st and 2nd gear and are not needed.

Or you could fit the Slingshot neutral switch on the B12 engine. It's a straight swap.

Ah thanks for the info mate wasn't sure myself, is a 750 m cdi unit ok for bandit motor?

I think the 750 cdi has a higher rev limiter so you will have to be cautious not to blow your motor taking it to the wrong redline

Yes 750 does run higher just wondered if any other issues, and yes I will have to remember not to over rev it, cheers

I used a 750 cdi once...I wouldn't recommend it just get a bandit one,better safe n all that.

Yes think I'd be better off with a bandit one I'll only implode it if I use the 750 one, cheers
