750 slabby annoying fault

Hi guys got a mates slabby at the shed with an irritating fault it will fire up ok run on choke revs harder choke off ticks over a bit lumpy right enough but as soon as you touch the throttle cuts out , it was running fine after set up at a local bike shop ,its had new plugs, the carbs are immaculate good clean spark got me stumped ? Any advice greatly appreciated :-)

Do the float bowls get full with gas?

Yeah it just won't take throttle touch it and the bike cuts out ?

What model is it?

Had a similar problem on my H model when the vac pipe was split/not fully connected

It's a G I think 1986 will check the vacuum pipe later

Which carbs / market bike? Doesn't sound like stock UK/JDM 86 750 with a vac tap.

If it is a vac problem the fuel tap will look like this  if it doesn't as @banoffee says it can't be stock so may be another problem not fuel flow/vac related, have you tried sticking it on prime and seeing if it runs ok??

Sorted its running vm29,s standard airbox all good was crap in the carbs and badly fitted airbox and tick over set way low took it all apart cleaned n build up seems ok still a wee bit fluffy low down bit seems crisp enough once it catches
