With a pair of pliers if you have no tap rotate the centre part(where the tap screws in) either fully clockwise or anti clockwise until it stops this will take you to either res or prime. Half between these 2 points is on, hope this makes sense.

A picture paints a 1000 words  sorry I can't post 1 because my bike is in the UK and I'm in Sweden, hope someone else can post a pic to help you, but it isn't that complicated to be honest
