Crass Posted Wednesday at 07:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:42 PM Does anyone have a source for the o-ring which fits at the base of the slide guide and seals it to the emulsion tube orifice in the carb body. None of the seal kits seem to include it. Or is it just a case of measuring the old one and sourcing a generic viton replacement? Quote
Upshotknothole Posted Wednesday at 07:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:51 PM Try this place. The parts diagrams usually don't have the carbs broken down that far to show that o-ring and you're right, I don't think most of the kits include it. https://litetek.co/Carb_Kit_Suzuki_GSXR750_91_M.html They also have a UK distributor you should be able to get them from. 1 Quote

How did you order them - assuming the Bandit fiches also don't give that level of detail, or do they? Edit - got the OEM part number from that Litetek link and yes they come up as available from Suzuki at a reasonable price. For future reference the part number is 13278-47090 . That seems to be the old part number superceded by 13278-47091. Edited Wednesday at 10:31 PM by Crass More info Quote
Upshotknothole Posted Wednesday at 10:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:01 PM I double checked and the parts sites I use don't have those o-rings listed for the carbs, so no part number to verify. Probably a Mikuni supplied part, same as the white plastic pieces, as Suzuki probably only included them in replacement carb bodies. I found an o-ring part number on another site, but when I cross referenced it, it only showed a bunch of dirt bikes. It's probably some standard sized o-ring, but Suzuki didn't list them on the standard parts fiche. Quote
