Samikoo Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I did a search and couldn´t find the answer to my question: Which Dyna 2000 system should I get for my GR72A aka GSX 750 ES? DDK3-2? I wan´t the possibility to run a retard curve via a pressure switch (and maybe the option of programming my own advance curve), and it seems like it can be done with the 2000. So, can I fit the kit made for the GS 1150 tec.? Is the crank trigger similar? Or is there any other (cheaper) way of doing this? Quote
Gixer1460 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Yes thats the right kit - fairly universal across old Kawa's and Suzuki's! The advance / retard curve thing is a bit agricultural - true you can develop your own advance curve but the retard activation is still a fixed number dropped on top of where ever the timing is at that point. The advance curve is actually 4 or 5 points so hardly a 'curve' Just MHO and I've had 4 of them so its a strange bias if I am! Quote
Samikoo Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Thanks! Yes, I understand it´s not sophisticated. It just seems like the best bang for buck for a low budget, low boost build. Quote
Markz9 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 If you are on a budget it would be worth having a look at the ignitech system lot more sophisticated than a dyna and cheaper Quote
Samikoo Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Yes, that seems like a better option. I´ll propably order it when I get the engine ready. Quote
Blower1 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I have Ignitech TCIP4 ignition in my 1100 EFE project bike. It uses EFE´s original triggers and trigger wheel. In TCIP4 is option for TPS or MAP sensor. I using MAP. Have not ride the bike yet, but it started easily. Quote
