Sparky1074 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I have just finished re building the the front brake master cylinder on the 1100ex and I am having an absolute nightmare trying to fit the dust seal/cap. I slide it over the plunger but can I get the bugger to locate over the top of the washer and circlip...no chance, it just bunches up. I have already destroyed one trying to push the thick rubber base down using a screw driver. I thought I had cracked it by using a deep socket that fits and pushing down but that doesn't seem to work either. Is there a trick or a special way of doing this, its driving me mad. Thanks again David. Quote
Screwriverracing Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Have you tried a bit of washing up liquid on it first, usually helps with this sort of problem. Cheers SRR Quote
