PaintItBlack Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) My cam chain was starting to rattle a bit , didn’t think it could be worn out at 47k miles, decided to fit a new spring, got new genuine Suzuki spring 12833-26D10 , quite different to spring that I removed, it’s 7mm longer and the wire is a slightly thinner gauge, anyone know if Suzuki upgraded this part at sometime ? just curious really, the new spring is fitted and seems to be an improvement on the one I removed Edited September 3 by PaintItBlack Better pic Quote
Upshotknothole Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Only one part number listed for that spring that I can find. Someone probably changed out the previous one at some point. 1 Quote

Dezza Posted September 3 Posted September 3 The new genuine Suzuki springs are indeed longer and thinner wire than the original items. I have fitted these new springs to Blandit 12, 1100 slabby and powerscreen engines 1 Quote
