Starter clutch

Recommended Posts

Part numbers are different also the idler gears have different number of teeth., B12/1127  idler has 12/53

gsxr J 750 has 12/52 so something is different, starter motor spline where it engages with the larger bit of the idler mabey???

But if you swapped the idler as well, it might all work??O.o

1127 anad 1152 motors have the starter motor mounted further from the crank, hence the djfferent side covers.

750/ 1052 startermotors fit and work on the big motors but sound aweful as the mesh is wrong.

The clutches are physically different sizes.
