Hello, just wondering if anyone has done the cam swap on a WT  where you put a 1000 inlet cam in the inlet side and the 750 inlet in the exhaust side. Think i got that the right way round. I know its been done on K series but not sure about W's

GSXR750WT/V/W/X are all SRAD models, just to clarify. Have you thought about fitting a 600 head if you want a bit more go? Smaller combustion chamber, more compressiion.

The head that's on is a Mezz one with kit valves and springs that I got off phase one a few years back. I was just looking at further development.

What compression ratio do you currently run? theres possibly further scope with a thinner head gasket

Not sure of ratio. It also has Teflon coated kit pistons, which you have to fit when you have kit valves. Coz the valves are flat and standard valves have a hollow face . I did gap the clearance head to piston and used thinest possible gasket.

Bob Farnham built a real screamer of an engine it was a combination of parts from the 600 and the 750 he used to have it posted on his site describing how it was built but for some reason it's not there any longer. Some of the info on the say what now!? forum is definitely good info.
