clivegto Posted January 29 Posted January 29 On a gsxr1000k1 when disconnecting the exhaust survo to fit an aftermarket exhaust can the wires just be disconnected ? Is there a fault code comes up on the dash ? and if so how do I fix it ? Quote
DAZ Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) Not 100% sure but most of these electronic things that get bypassed/deleted usually have a gizmo ( usually a resistor) to plug into the loom to cool the ecu into thinking the servo is still intact that would be first search Edited January 29 by DAZ Addition 1 Quote
Captain Chaos Posted January 29 Posted January 29 two wires (don't remember which ones, it's been a while) need to be connected and there's no fault code anymore. Google probably knows the answer. 1 Quote

Captain Chaos Posted January 29 Posted January 29 been looking in some documentation from 20 years ago (when I was a Suzuki mechanic) and on the K2 model the black/brown wire on the ECM needs to be disconnected. Same as on the K1 model it says. 1 Quote
