From 600 bandit mk 2 to1200 mk2

Mk2 bandit 600 could you take the barrels head pistons  and change them for a1200  set and the carbs 

would it work

no but a 1200 engine will fit right in, but then the brakes and suspension will not be up to the bigger engine, just buy a 1200.

A 750 top end would fit on your 600 but as @TonyGee points out realistically if your bike is in good condition and not needing an engine rebuild you would be better off selling it and buying a 1200
