TurboBobber Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Hi, as above really? Has anyone got experience of why it won’t work? Pictures look identical on the back, the busa seems to use a different pump gear but it also looks like there’s a surface there as per the bandit. Both are apparently 72teeth. Not too fussed about the inner hub at the moment* as I know there’s the funny slipper business but billet hubs are available without it. Purely concerned with the basket. cheers. Quote
Duckndive Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Given the larger plate O/D of bus plates I would have thought the basket would be to big for the oil boiler cases I have a slider in a GSXR and that's tight Why not just fit a GSXR Steel Basket etc Quote

Damn. What slider are you running? Quote

I have a Paul Wing Slider "he only made a few" ..and it has a ride back so no pit bike needed but uses stock plates unlike the MTC which uses a 1000 basket and plates I modified my lock up cover to take the ride back 1 Quote

george 1100 Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I tried an 2012 1000 basket and it just interfered with the rod. There earlier 1000 may fit as they have a slightly different shape on the outside of the basket but I don't want want to spend the money to find out it won't. Shaft length was also an issue Quote

I should be able to borrow an earlier gsxr clutch for a test fit easy enough. I’m already running a k1 gsxr 750 (I think) hub, so that may prove to be a help or a hinderance lol. Cheers. Quote
