  1. Story of my life. Okay cool. I should be able to borrow an earlier gsxr clutch for a test fit easy enough. I’m already running a k1 gsxr 750 (I think) hub, so that may prove to be a help or a hinderance lol. Cheers.
  2. Amazing!! I have some mutual friends with him. Will try get some more info. And if you have any more photos you’ll gain a friend for life
  3. Yeah I’ve since been told it’ll hit the rods apparently. Damn. What slider are you running?
  4. Hi, as above really? Has anyone got experience of why it won’t work? Pictures look identical on the back, the busa seems to use a different pump gear but it also looks like there’s a surface there as per the bandit. Both are apparently 72teeth. Not too fussed about the inner hub at the moment* as I know there’s the funny slipper business but billet hubs are available without it. Purely concerned with the basket. cheers.
  5. On the “plus” side. We don’t have pump e85 here in the U.K. it’s a choice of VP race fuel or similar or lab grade stuff for us.
  6. We already a run water meth injection system on it. Which we keep closer to Meth than water. Have considered if it’ll be a useful tool for enrichment under boost. Or whether the amount it can actually spray will be piśśing in the wind on that front. As it’s very much a chemical intercooler now compared to a proper fuel system.
  7. Problem is this side e85 in the race variant (others can vary the percentage) is still pricey. . Great shout on that forum. Will pay them a sign up. Cheers.
  8. Loads of cars are still methanol carb, and speedway bikes have been methanol for years. We’re happy with the increase workload. I can run the boost up till the turbo gets asthmatic. Or fit a bigger one if required. By the time wed get any worthwhile airflow through a cooler we’re preparing to stop. Most watercooled motors don’t run rads either. Methanol will perform better. IF. We can make it work. Which is why I’m curious if anyone has actually physically done it.
  9. Will try them! Never heard of them. Cheers. yeah we run innovate boost and wideband and data logger. So can keep an eye on what’s up as well reduce the boost back to spring pressure if things start getting too lean.
  10. Hi all. Im aware that Methanol eats… well just about everything. And that I’ll need an oil change… well permanently. And that I’ll need to at least double the area of the main jets. If they don’t make any big enough. I own a drill… lol. However. Has anyone personally played with Methanol on bandit carbs? i run 18psi on a stock 1157 motor currently. With c16 to keep her from pinking. But the price is mental. And she gets very hot. I’m hoping someone has actual hands on experience with doing this. cheers. Matt.
  11. The hose was a temp measure to get me out the shit last season. It wasn’t even jubileed in the pic. To be fair… it did last haha. But yeah. Totally agree a neater solution can be done. was just wondering if it could be simply capped off but it seems not.
  12. Quick question which I can’t find the answer too. Currently I run a bypass consisting of some 90° Banjo fittings and a silicone pipe which is unsightly and a potential leak point. Is it possible to simply put bolts into the oil cooler pipe holes on the sump to blank it off? Without causing any oil flow issues. My original rationale for bypassing it and not blanking it was not causing any issues with oil not being able to get where it needs to after the cooler. But the bypass is becoming annoying day to day now. (before anyone says why the hell would you want to. This is a drag motor that sees use in anger for 9 seconds all being well) cheers Matt.
