ignition advance springs?

anyone know of any replacement ignition advance springs for 81 gs1100ex (USA, 1074)?  found one of my springs ejected and killed itself  ha.  checked against my v8 distributor springs and no good - too small.  no longer in production from Suzuki.  is my only option to buy a used governor assembly for parts?
