  1. any known differences in springs between engine sizes/models?
  2. anyone know of any replacement ignition advance springs for 81 gs1100ex (USA, 1074)? found one of my springs ejected and killed itself ha. checked against my v8 distributor springs and no good - too small. no longer in production from Suzuki. is my only option to buy a used governor assembly for parts?
  3. thanks, appreciate the info. looks like i have more lathe work to do
  4. they would be 20x52x12. i found a pair of correct size bearings but they are open style. i would prefer the bearing swap but may end up doing the spacer/sleeve. i just cant find any sealed bearings in that size (factory k8 is 28x52x12)
  5. ive got a k8 5.5" wheel for my 92 7/11. just wondering what wheel bearings u guys have used for this to get down to 20mm. the only ones ive found are open style. the factory k8 bearings are sealed and the slingy bearings are shielded. running open bearings ok? worried about possibility of grease sling onto tire. or should i just make a sleeve/spacer and use the k8 bearings
  6. rather not buy another rack of carbs. should i run the 38 cv's instead?
  7. ive got a (USA model GS) GSX with a 1168 kit on it (10.25to1), full dyna ignition, 4-1 pipe race baffle. im tired of messing with the 34's it came with (#4 carb has been giving me trouble for years now). i have couple sets of carbs available for it including rs38's. should i run the 38 flatties on it or use 38 or 36 gsxr cv's? RS- start with 135 mains and setup as the book suggests or no? Also do the RS carbs have a throttle stop screw @ wot? any experience and advise will be appreciated
