I'm due to pick up my slingshot 750 project in that next week or two, but have a couple of questions about bits that need sorting on it! It currently has mesh over the carbs, but as I'll be using it as a road bike (was previously track only) I'd like some individual/dual filters for it. Is there anything that fits straight onto the carbs that's reccomended? Foam or k&n type is fine. Secondly, the fuel tank cap is in need of replacement, what years are compatible with it? It won't be parked in public places so I'd happily use a spin off/race style non locking one of there is one that will fit straight in! Any other information that's worth knowing about the short stroke engines would be great, all my oil cooler experience has been long stroke stuff! Thanks! Quote Link to comment
