Gmantis Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Greetings Gents! Been away for a bit and tryin to get the B12 out & going, but if it's not one thing, it's another. On this topic, of which there are many answers, I'm not finding (on the Net in general) any info guiding one to know how to "block off the oil passage feeding the OEM Hydraulic tensioner", as per the requirement of APE. APE website states the necessity of the aforementioned and follows with the warning that not doing so could (would?) result in low oil pressure. My question is: what is the procedure in blocking off the oil passage, anyone? Thank you. Let's Go Brandon! Quote
Gixer1460 Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 Bandit with a 'hydraulic tensioner' ? ? ? I thought they ALL used spring tensioners! Just looked at APE instructions - it says 'if fitted with hydraulic tensioner' ie. in general terms - a blandit isn't! Quote
