Kevref Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 As the kickstart is pretty much redundant on the 750, has anyone removed the kickstart shaft and has the engine plate welded up ? Just checking its possible to remove the kickstart shaft mechanism in its entirety from the engine without it causing issues thanks Quote

RobNukem Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 I’m not 100% certain but the 850 is basically a bored out 750 so maybe worth looking at the 850 clutch cover on early bikes but yes the casings have to be split (going from almost 40 year ago memory. Good luck Quote

Good luck im pretty sure all the early 850's have the clutch lever on the top of the clutch cover !!! where the 750's don't. not saying it won't fit though ???? Quote
wraith Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 As far as I know, the 750 and 850 clutch covers won't swap. Quote
